Upgrade your 2011 VMH dongle, VIDEO

This video shows how easy it is to self-install a new SeaClear edition onto your VMH dongle:

This is ONLY relevant if you already have one of these:

New content can be burned onto your VMH encrypted dongle via a big download. The old content is wiped and the new edition you have chosen is burned on.

Step 1. Buy your new content download. Get "Charts for SeaClear 2012" (£20) for your dongle.. Click here to find out more and purchase the upgrade download

Step 2. After paying you'll get an email within a few hours with your download link , download the self-burn executable. It's 380 MB so can take 30 mins to download even at broadband speeds. Don't try this on a moble connection or dial up.

Step 3. Once you have the "Self Burn" executable on your desktop, PLUG IN YOUR VMH encrypted dongle, close any windows that may open

Step 4. Double click the "Self Burn" executable. It may take a little while to do anything at all..be patient. It will look for your dongle and find it. Enter any licence code you've been given (4 digit PIN number) IF NO PIN HAS BEEN GIVEN, leave this box blank.

Step 5. It will WIPE all the contents of your dongle first, then rebuild it. This can take 5-7 mins odd. You'll see a progress bar.

Step 7. When finished close the executable's window and REMOVE your dongle.

Step 8. Plug the dongle in again, then have a look at the contents. In the case of "Charts for SeaClear 2012" there will be 4 items

That's it, all done. You can now use the new edition burned onto your dongle. In the case of "Charts for SeaClear 2012" you'll need to install it on your machine(s). See the short video showing how to do this HERE.
