Anchor fouling
Written by DerekH | 18th Sep 2022
Just to back up earlier comments- I anchored in north of the bay. Even with light northerly winds it was quite rolly at times. Also at 5m contour my anchor fouled on something. Powerful windlass just pulled the bow down. Motoring around it eventually cleared it - definitely recommend using a buoyed trip line.

Pleasant bay but a bit rolly
Written by Tyro Sailor | 12th Jul 2021
I anchored here close in, on the drying line in way of the water taxi pontoon one night early in July. Even here there was perceptible rolling with a moderate SWly outside. Clean sand and clear water allowed me to see the hook well dug in. Being a Friday night the local yoofs were out but they quietened down eventually.
