I see the discrepancy between the price on line and that in the harbour office has been resolved.
Update June 2022

I reviewed these notes in June 2022. They are still charging £20 at the harbour office but there's a discrepancy on the on-line payment website. I've queried it. Otherwise all is much the same - I've used it several times; not a "holiday destination" but a very safe and welcoming haven when you need it.
May 2021 - Friendly and efficient harbour

The HM Darren Bremner is a top man - and all his staff are very friendly.
They will raft you against a wind farm boat or other working boat.
Not really a marina (!) but it is very safe and has 24/7 VHF cover.

UPDATE SPRING 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 17th May 2021
I reviewed these notes in May2021. Nothing has changed much here. They are still happy to put you on the pilot boat berth if you ask and, as you can see from previous skippers' notes below they really will be helpful if you end up here.

UPDATE SPRING 2018

The price has gone up and you can now pay for all of the Moray harbours on line (we have given a link). It is of note that all the Morayshire harbours are administered and manned from here, but many of them are unmanned and are visited only occasionally.
Update Spring 2016
Written by dononshytalk | 31st Mar 2016
These notes were reviewed by Don in March 2016. There have been no changes here apart from a small increase in Harbour dues for visitors. It also interesting to note that the old three master that used to be berthed here has departed.
helpful harbour staff

Not the prettiest of stops but the harbour staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way for us when we were stuck there for a couple of days

Easy to approach at night, illuminated harbour. Good lights and professional harbour staff who will "fit you in". maybe not the prettiest harbour but certainly one to remember.
