Tidal Data Times & Range

There is no tidal data available but we found the range to be about 3.5 metres at springs and a metre at neaps. For times we used Mallaig which seemed to work.   (links)

UPDATE JULY 2022

I reviewed these notes in July 2022. The long water hose is no longer available otherwise no changes.
Update Early Summer 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 16th Jun 2021
These notes were changed in June 2021. The retirement of the Skye Yachts charter business has changed things here but it is still possible to find a mooring. You should use the Honesty Box on the small pier to pay your dues if you do use a mooring. Fees have not changed and most services are still available but you would be best to make arrangements in advance.

Update Spring 2019
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 30th Apr 2019
These notes were reviewed in April 2019. The big news here is that Skye Yachts is retiring at the end of this season so the services to visitors supplied by them will cease. We are attempting to contact the South Sleat Community Moorings Association to find out their intentions

UPDATE APRIL 2017
Written by Don Thomson | 4th Apr 2017
These notes were reviewed by Don in April 2017. They haven't changed anything here - not even the prices for using one of their moorings.

These notes were reviewed by Don in April 2015. The only change is to the price of the Calmac Ferry to Mallaig
