Hazards

There are no hidden dangers. There is a PHM off Ullapool Point which marks the deep water channel for trawlers and other deep draft vessels. If coming behind Isle Martin it’s quite narrow and the leading marks behind one (shown on AC2500-0) are difficult if not impossible to identify.

Written by Nick Spenceley | 21st Jun 2023
The harbour trust has re developed Shore street to improve ferry traffic access and this has included new pontoon berths- about 15. The development is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2023. Diesel bunkering and water as detailed below.

UPDATE SUMMER 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 26th Jul 2021
I reviewed these notes in July 2021. Very little has changed here. They have plans to install pontoon berths in the "Inner Harbour" in an arc opposite the pontoon on the pier. This is still in the planning stage and I wouldn't expect much to happen for a couple of years.
Update Summer 2019

These notes were reviewed in July 2019. No change apart from the price of the mooring. The garage still charges lowland prices for his Camping Gaz.
