Android 2025 to 2026 free updates available NOW
This page is for those who have purchased and installed our Android charts within the last 12 months, by download (or if included on a 2025 USB)
(Note: The name of your current chartset can be seen top left corner when you list charts by tapping the button with 2 arrows going in a circle in Marine Navigator app)
Android Charts 2025-2026 update: In all cases this is by download only, even if you received them originally on DVD/USB. This will ONLY update working 2025 versions to 2026. And it will only update the chart package you originally installed, on the machine it is currently working on. No re- registering required. Price : Free for 2025 chart purchasers

1. Get your Android going and showing the charts as normal. Tap the chartlist button, (the 2 arrows going in a circle) and note the name of the chartset you have installed. Check that it matches one of the update download options below.

2. Download the correct update DIRECT TO YOUR TARGET ANDROID DEVICE from the update link below, to match the chartset you have installed. Wait till it's fully downloaded and in your downloads folder CHECK IT IS ACTUALLY THERE, NOT IN SOME OTHER LOCATION LIKE "My Favourites" etc... Make sure Marine Navigator can "see" the update package when you choose "IMPORT" DO NOT IMPORT into Marine Navigator at this stage.

3.. With your existing charts showing on the Android, tap the chartlist button (the 2 arrows going in a circle), see your list of charts, and then tap the blue folder (named something like vmhUK-IRL2025a) in the top left hand corner of the screen. You will get a list of any current chart folders you have already got installed. . Very important this year : For a "clean" update install it's best to DELETE the original chartset that you are now updating BEFORE importing the 25-26 update..Long Press the blue folder with the same chartset name as you are updating DELETE.

Update 1. " vmhUK-IRL2025a" was available by download from Jan 2025 up till mid Jan 2026, (price £17). It was bundled with the Unified Charts UK/IRL 2025 by download or on USB. This will NOT update 2024 purchases (even if you updated them for free in 2025)..you need to re-purchase.

Update 2. " vmhUK-NCn2025a " was available by download from Jan 2025 till mid Jan 2026, at £38 odd and bundled with Unified Charts UK-Near Continent 2025 by download or on USB. This will NOT update 2024 purchases (even if you updated them for free in 2025)..you need to re-purchase.

Update 3. " vmhES-PT-AT2025a " was available by download from Jan 2025 till mid Jan 2026 at around £42. This was also bundled with the Unified Charts "ES-PT-AT 2025 by download or on USB. 4.Go back to Marine Navigator and "IMPORT" the update .zip folder you downloaded in step 1.
Once all the charts are imported close Marine Navigator, switch Android off, then on again. No chart re-activation required.

5. When you start Marine Navigator you should see the pink bar rising up the chartlist button. Charts should be ready to use.

Important note: The updated chartset will STILL have exactly the SAME NAME and year as the original. You can verify they have been updated 2025 to 2026 by looking at chart 0002-0, (that's the UK-Ireland chart shown in the image above). It will have 2026 stamped on it clearly (approx location Birmingham, inland)
Notes: New UK, IRL, BE, NL, ES & PT charts are from ist Jan 2026. FR charts are from Dec 2025.
