Fitted with the VMH 2025 UK + Near Continent Chartpack and prepared by VMH in East Cowes, this turn key package includes:
- A fully refurbished and tested Samsung SM T395 8" Android IP68 tablet (Android 9)
- Fitted with OEM version of Marine Navigator app, AIS compatible
- Fitted with the VMH 2025 UK, Near Continent Chartset
- Spare chart activation code, so customer can install the same chart package on another device, eg Phone that has Marine Navigator app installed
- Free 2026 chart update.
- Other useful apps installed..like anchor watch
- Unlocked so can take any 4G SIM card (note internet/SIM NOT needed for chartplotting.. useful for weather/emails, etc). Can be used as phone.

VMH also provide a spare chart activation for the end customer. Each comes with a white sticker with 2 unlocks. The OEM unlock is used to do the install. End customer can use the 2nd code to install the same charts on another Android device. Customer needs Marine Navigator app installed on their own phone.tablet. Note from Steve at VMH... comparison between the old STK rugged tablets we had a while back and these Samsungs. The Samsungs are FAR faster, newer, and the 8" screen is much bigger. Better daylight visibility. (Polarized Gorrilla Glass) Although these don't look so tough, they are still IP68 waterproof. Better design, with "blind" sockets, that won't let water in even with no rubber covers. Smaller battery, (Samsungs say 6 hrs continious use).
