UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2022
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 22nd Sep 2022
I reviewed these notes at the end of September 2022. Be aware that this bit of coast is an everchanging mud profile and, if you intend, going in you would be well advised to make contact with the Burnham on Sea yacht club and get the latest info. A last-minute decision to go there for Sunday lunch would be very brave.
UPDATE SPRING 2018
Written by Don Thomson | 26th Apr 2018
There is a new pier adjacent to the Hinkley Point power station. The buoyage has changed a little since last year and there is a new chartlet in our Navigation pictures. The bottom by the pontoons is firmer than hitherto and fin keelers may lean a little.

Update Spring 2016
Written by dononshytalk | 28th Apr 2016
These notes were reviewed by Don in April 2016. The pilotage given on this site and the Burnham Sailing club's site is as up to date as it can be but be aware that this is an area of shifting sands and high tidal ranges and it is best to contact the Club before entering to check for changes.
