UPDATE AUGUST 2022
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 10th Aug 2022
I reviewed these note in August 2022. This place is beginning to get a good rep; they had a French flotilla in last year - and put on a ceilidh for them in the hotel!! Still no intentions of getting Gas or Gaz.

Yacht repair, maintenance and engineering services available. Winter lift-out, jet wash, hardstanding and re-launch packages. HM Donald can sort just about anything required.
24hr (unmanned) petrol & diesel pumps about 20mins walk from the marina.
Daliburgh Co-Op 3 miles - no food shops in L.B.

Update Spring 2019
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 22nd May 2019
These notes were reviewed in May 2019. This development is proving popular but provisioning still remains a problem. Price has gone up and we've added new charts.

Update May 2017
Written by Griffo99 | 18th Aug 2017
We have made a number of visits here and found the Harbour Master (Col) and Port Manager (Donald) to be most helpful. Wifi available. In 2017 Donald was fitting out a cabin as a shop selling basic provisions. The Post Office has a café, with wifi, that serves wicked cakes. Car hire can be arranged by Donald.

UPDATE APRIL 2017
Written by Don Thomson | 11th Apr 2017
I reviewed these notes in April 2017. They've changed their pricing system for visiting boats. They are still struggling with the infra structure ashore; it's a brilliant, sheltered marina but it's separated from the rest of the islands by miles of roads and there is nothing here apart from the hotel.

update Autumn 2016
Written by dononshytalk | 17th Oct 2016
The Harbour has issued two Notices to Mariners concerning the navigation of vessels constrained by their draft. We have summarised these NtMs in red at the beginning of the Approach section of these notes and hope to have a chartlet delineating the area concerned idc
