Tutorial 1- App settings
Short video shows how to tune up the settings in Maine Navigator app:

1.29 Position Format- Set to DD.MM.MMM to match paper chart readings
1.49 Unit System - Set to Nautical Miles
1.54 Bearing Type- Set to Rhumbline (unless you are great circle sailing across oceans)
2.07 Screen Timeout. Disable or enable app control of system screen timeout settings. Useful if always plugged in.
2.43 Quick info display I use distance and bearings (other setting available). Demo in next video
2.47 Compass. IF your device has compass, set damping filters to suit.
3.36 Colour Scheme. Set NIGHT or DAY. Demo
4.35 AIS settings. Set to match your AIS by WiFi kit (if you have one). Default settings are pretty standard.
