I reviewed these notes in July 2022. Prices have changed but that's about all for the moment. We are watching developments at Ardersier and will endeavour to keep you informed.

North cardinal buoy on the spit is missing
Written by paul_m | 18th Jun 2019
Craft should be aware of the shallow underwater shoal which extends 280m northwards from Carnarc Point Light (Fl.G.2s4M), on the west side of entrance to the River Ness.

The North Cardinal buoy marking end of shoal has FAILED.

We endeavour to rectify this as soon as possible.

All craft should be aware that strong currents exist in the area of the Kessock Bridge and the Kessock roads.

They've pretty well got eveything in place here now so nothing to add. Prices have gone up.
Update Spring 2016
Written by dononshytalk | 5th Apr 2016
These notes were reviewed by Don in April 2016. Apart from the new NCM which will not be shown on your old chart and probably not yet on Navionics there are absolutely no changes, not even the prices!
