Well, after many requests, here it is...The custom made VisitMyHarbour encrypted USB/Dongle combination:

Since producing our "For Navigation" products, VisiCharts and the SeaClear DVD packages, we have had many enquiries about putting these on a USB compatible device. Many new netbooks don't have DVD or CD apparatus built into them. We know many of you use special power saving solid state "black boxes" onboard, again with only USB capability.

Now back in stock...

These tiny devices consist of a USB 4Gb storage unit, plus an onboard decryption chip to protect the copyright chart content. In effect (just like the DVD/CD) the locally installed SeaClear package is locked by the dongle. These units cost us £25 each so what we've decided to do in all fairness to our customers is to send out these dongles, in return for a refundable £25 deposit.

It works like this: The £25 deposit is included in the price. If in future you change to another chart system, you can return the dongle in working order and get your £25 back.

The huge advantages of the VisitMyHarbour dongle are as follows:

How easy is it to use ? If you know how to plug a USB flash drive into a socket and have a look at the contents on it, you'll be able to use this. Installation is simply dragging a folder and shortcuts to your laptop.
